I have over 17 years of combined clinical experience as a nurse and nurse practitioner working with individuals with mental health disorders in acute and outpatient clinical/healthcare settings such as hospitals, day treatment centers, hospice facilities, home-care, rehabilitation centers, and long-term care facilities. With this diverse background, I have served as a contributing nurse practitioner at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital providing psychiatric and mental health services on the behavioral, medical and emergency department units.
As a practitioner and prescriber, my approach integrates psychiatric care to include assessments, diagnostic evaluations, medication management, formulation of treatment plans, adjunct psychotherapy and wellness care to foster long-term mental stability.
