Dr. Laurette Abunaw DNP,  is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. She carries over 20 years of diverse clinical experience in the healthcare and nursing field across various roles.

PMHNP (2020)-As an advanced practice hospitalist and a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, she specializes in the treatment of  individuals with a broad spectrum of mental health conditions.

Treating disorders include:

Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, OCD, ADHD management, conduct disorders, stress related issues, bipolar disorders, behavioral issues and complex mood disorders.

She provides psychiatric/mental health evaluations, medication management and supportive psychotherapy to individuals struggling with mild to complex issues.

Dr. Laurette Abunaw, DNP, has amassed 20+years of experience in the nursing field with a progressive path from LPN, RN, BSN, MSN, PMHNP-BC to Doctor of Nursing Practice. Her career has spanned across the lifespan from pediatrics to adult and geriatric (Seniors) populations, across a wide range of clinical settings, including behavioral health, hospice,

long-term/acute care. wound care, infection control, quality assurance performance improvement, leadership-management, education, primary care, intensive outpatient and hospitalist practice care. Each role has deepened her dedication to whole-person-patient-centered care.
